I have the IPhone 4s and the "please wait" prompt appears continuously when composing. This freezes the score until you swipe to another measure. Hope this can be fixed. Otherwise its a great app so far.

Absolutely love it! Only one thing need-grace notes(
This app is the best music app I have ever used. Though its missing one little thing: along with triplets, quadruplets, etc, it also needs duplets. Please add that in a new update.
Id like it better if it ran smoother and had a simpler way of imputing notes.
It crashes more than once a minute, making it almost unusable. Every time it crashes, I lose the work that I entered. Very frustrating to use.
Its much better but I have one problem. I cant delete the old songs I dont need anymore. The update helped a lot though. Keep the updates coming!
This is a seriously cool app. Human interface is amazing, and extremely easy to learn. But theres always gonna be people like me who want it to be better. What Im looking for is a way to import and export .mus and import .mid files. I work mainly in Finale, but its installed on a desktop computer, so its not quite as portable as an iPhone. Also, there is barely any percussion instruments, and it would be great to have those as well, with the standard percussion notation. Once something is done to fix these issues, I will gladly give this the five-star rating it deserves! :)
This is probably a good app for writing down little ideas that pop into your head, but not for writing a whole piece. It only does 1 part and I cant figure out how to even change the cleff.
This is great!! I love the app, but is there any possible way to get Drumline sounds with notations of rimshots, clicks and such?? That would be EXTREMELY cool, and I guarantee many would buy this app.
Great notation program, but it crashes on me before I can save half of the time. I write a lot of progressive music, so having to go back and rewrite all of the time changes and etc. is pretty aggravating. Other than that, it is a great app. Im glad that I found it.
This is a really nice app for only 2.99, However, It gets lags and crashes every 5-10 minutes, so Im constantly losing work unless I save all the time, which I will do anyway. Closing background apps as suggested did not help. I am using the 4s. I would rate this at 5 stars and pay a higher price, say $7 if it didnt crash, and $15 if it didnt lag or crash. Will still try to use, thank you!
I has potential. I feel it needs a revamp to the UI and the functionality.
Look one of the compatibility issues so thoughtfully mentioned at the top of the app listing is that ALL of the text entry boxes have been disabled. Until the next update, which good customer service theory suggests should happen as close to YESTERDAY as possible, I cant name my music, tracks or assert my copyright. Luckily, the windows that operate with pull down windows (key, octave, instrument etc.) all seem to work, so a composer working for him or herself can get work down. However, someone chasing a real check and deadline situation is going to flip out over the flaws and may try someone elses notation software. When the app writers take their thumbs out and fix things this is four star software that just needs a better algorithm for violins, which seem to be the hardest instrument to replicate across a broad swath of apps and other software.
Simply put, this is a great application for composing music on the go. I am by no means a professional composer, with that said, this application has everything I need to compose music. It also includes an option to export as MIDI, which very helpful for transferring songs to other applications. Now on to some of the downsides to this application. One downside is that sometimes while trying to scroll across the screen, it reads my gesture as an attempt to place a note. I am using an iPhone, so I dont know if that issue is as relevant on an iPad. Another downside is that there is no "select note" mode, for easily deleting or moving multiple notes. Overall this is a great application that I highly recommend!
This is my go to app for mobile composition. This is desktop grade, the note entry and playback are seamless. Due to the touchscreen interface the sensation is very similar to jotting down music on paper. Everything from the first note to a final print out can be completed with this beautifully designed app!! Composers this is your dream mobile notation app!! Download immediately!
Now just have it export each track to individual tracks in the midi file.
My software will be no sound when I have received a phone call If the software can save automatically, it will be better for the user. Otherwise we will lost notes when accidents occurs.
Finally, exactly what Ive been looking for. Very easy to use and works great.
This app should be used by anyone involved with music by the slightest bit! I cant recommend it too highly.
This app was exactly what I was looking for, I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to compose on their phone on those times when inspiration hits
