This is a great app!!!!! But it always is saying Turn Off Apps Running in Background when I dont have any, all that is needed is a simple update to fix some of the bugs but overall awsome app

this app needs some serious updates. it lags atrociously, and the controls are non-intuitive, overly complicated, and difficult to use. there is a lot of potential here, but none of it is being shown in this version.

I love this app. I have the iPhone version and the iPad version and they are both truly amazing! I figured entering music this way would be cumbersome, but its incredibly easy and intuitive. I cant think of a single thing that would improve it. Well done!

How can I transfer my files from free to the paid app I bought?

Creating a notation app thats actually useable on an iphone is no small feat. Youll notice that there are not iOS versions of Sibelius or Finale. There is a reason for that! I purchased iWriteMusic back in 2013, but it was a while before I began to use it regularly. There was a bit of a learning curve, which in my case, was just a matter of tinkering about until I figured it, out as opposed to watching the tutorial videos or anything like that. The app makes good sense once you get used to it. Its fantastic to be able to jot down ideas – in polyphony - then export them as midi files. This is an app that is regularly tweaked and updated for the better by its developer. They took on a very difficult task in making a workable notation app and in my opinion, have pretty much knocked it out of the park. Five stars.

It keeps crashing while Im working on a piece. And while autosave helps, it doesnt make the constant crashing any better. Please please do the thing. (I have an iphone 6+, idk if thats important. The free version was working just fine.)

Love it but it crashes alot. Hope you fix it. Its an awesome program, just wish there was no crashing

I just got this app, and I noticed that the interphase was easy, although there were many problems with the changing of eighth notes to quarter notes, or at least I havent found a way to lock their notation, as well as: where are slurs, even ties dont work right. Certain notation options arent available either such as rests atop notes, certain French sayings, etc.. Many thing should be changed to this app, changed and fixed, and* added. Sorry this app has potential.. 2**

The iwritemusic capacity is really annoying and I appreciate if you remove this restriction so that it doesnt function with the notice of the maximum capacity. Thx

This app is slowly become my go-to for all of my notation needs. Every update just keeps getting better! Keep it up developers!

What a great music notation app in the palm of my hand! It needs a few fixes but its going to be great! I really love its design.

This app continues to rock. I hope in future updates well be able to write: 1) 4 quarter notes in 3/4 time. Its like a triplet, only its in 4. 2) the capacity to recognize other kinds of triplet. Weird ones like two triplets thats connected as if theyre are one. But they really are. 3) and for an empty measure (with no notes) to accept a whole rest no matter the time signature. Say in 2/4 time, theres a measure that you need to fill in with one rest; which, in proper notation, should only be one whole rest. I hope Im not spamming or anything. Hehe. Thank you:)

This app is an amazing tool for any songwriter. With the ability to create an orchestral movement on the go, this app is a must have. I play the piano, and this app has helped me compose music while balancing my busy school schedule. The app has almost all the tools one might need. The program alerts you when you have made a mistake, it allows you to copy and paste entire sections, saving you a ton of work. It also plays back anything you write so that you can check yourself for errors. With numerous built in presets for timings, keys, and and octaves, this app is easy to use, and at its low price, is a great deal. I have only had two problems with this app so far. First off, if a song is becoming lengthy, the app has a tendency to crash, causing me to save my work frequently, or risk losing what Ive been working on. The only other problem is that the program seems to be missing a grace note feature which Im sure they will add in a later update (hint).

I found instructions on how to upgrade in the FAQ. Will change my rating to 5 stars. (Upgraded to the full version. It cant read files created from the free version so they seem to be a waste!!)

Although it needs more features, it is by far the best of its kind. It doesnt take long to become proficient at using it. Perfect for making lead sheets on the go!

I bought Notion and this one, and I thought iWrite Music was the best one. After update, the font size was better than before. There are still some small parts needs to improve, but it is still good app. BTW, I hope i can save my work to Dropbox, not only email.

I love the fact that it plays what your writing. Also I like that putting everything in place is easy. There is much capability to this app and as I start college I cant wait to use it in my music theory classes and what ever else there is! I love the update! I cant wait till the next update when you add the caesura symbol!

I bought Maestro and was very disappointed, then got this one and I love it except for two things: Its very practical and extremely easy to use, but crashes way too much and tells me to close my background apps when there arent any running, as well as everything else incoming off with the wifi as well. Secondly, I noticed that some of the functions, such as trill and fortepiano are greyed out; you can use them but they dont work in playback. I wish that worked. Other than those minor things, this app is totally worth the purchase, and way better than the other apps. iWriteMusicProject, please fix these few things and itd be perfect! Thanks for creating!
